The name of Corn exchange, of undoubted root Arab, comes to mean "inn" or "house of way" for it there is in a place that was much journeyed from the times of the romanización up to the Middle Age. His probable origin mends to the epoch of repopulation after the conquest of the region to the Arabs, towards her second half of the XIIth century.

Art and Monuments:
• Parochial Church of the XIXth century
• Pillory, of the XVIth century

Traditional holidays:
• popular Holidays, on September 8
• management Holidays, the day of Saint John Bautista (June 24)

In the hamlet some large houses of typical construction excel alcarreña, with big revocos and eaves of carved wood. The square major is an interesting environment. Streamwise from the river Arlés, way of Valdeconcha, there exists still the chapel of Our Lady of the Saz, that enjoys big devotion between the natives. The image rests on a willow trunk, and under her a crystalline source sprouts.

The Town bathes the river Arles. (ftes and text. to see links and Delegation of Cuenca)
